Our first very successful event took place in Pretoria from 30 July to 1 August.  Thank you to all our "Teechas" for the wonderful classes!

When is the first one? 

Friday 30 July, Saturday 31 July and Sunday 1 August 2010.

Where will it be held?
In Pretoria, at the Function Centre on the Voortrekker Monument grounds.

Who is running it?
In2crafts is run by Tucats Media, the publishers of Craftwise and Stitches magazines. In2crafts@Hobby-X is a joint venture between Tucats Media and Expo Trends, the owners of Hobby-X.

Who will be teaching?
We have selected TWENTY of the best and most well-known craft teachers in the country.

How does it work?
1. Firstly you need to decide on which day (or days) you would like to attend workshops.
2. You then decide whether to accept our VIP offer or to only attend a few classes. 
3. To accept our VIP offer, you should book for FOUR workshops on the same day, (i.e. the whole day).  You will then get the following included FREE:
   • Free entry to Hobby-X
   • A value-packed goodie bag
   • A lunch voucher
   • Tea/coffee/water vouchers
4. Should you decide to only attend one, two or three workshops, you will not qualify for the above items and will need to pay the Hobby-X entrance fee when you arrive at the event.
5. You then either pay with a credit card or by depositing the amount into our bank account.

Can I book for a friend?
Yes, but please complete a separate order for each person!  This is vital.  Should you book for more than one person on the same order, name tags will not be generated for the other person(s) and they will not be given access to the workshops.  Multiple bookings will automatically be cancelled and you will have to go through the booking process again. When booking for someone else, please put their name and surname in the COMMENTS box in step 1 of the checkout process.

How much does it cost?
Classes are R125.00 each.  A full day of workshops, (four workshops) including VIP treatment with free entry to Hobby-X, will thus only cost you R500.00.

What time do the classes start?
There are four 90 minute sessions during the day. All classes start simultaneously.
09:00 – 10:30 Session 1
30 minute tea and shopping break
11:00 – 12:30 Session 2
60 minute lunch and shopping break
13:30 – 15:00 Session 3
30 minute tea and shopping break
15:30 – 17:00 Session 4
60 minutes of shopping until the show closes

Are the same classes repeated throughout the day?
Not necessarily. Some teachers will be presenting the same workshop in every session. Other teachers will present a variety of different workshops.

What must I bring with to class?
All you need to bring with you is a printout of the confirmation email that you receive from us confirming your booking.  (If you do have not received a confirmation email from us, then log in again and check that your order has been fully executed.) All tools and materials will be provided in each workshop.

How can I see what classes are available?
At the top of the left column of this page is a box labeled “Workshop Choices”. Click on any of the dates listed, then click on the individual sessions.  We also recommend downloading and printing out the full workshop schedule to make your selection easier.

Can children attend classes?
Children from the age of 16 and upwards are welcome to attend.  The workshops will unfortunately not be suitable for younger children.

How do I know that a specific workshop is not already full?
Under each workshop description the number of seats still available for that workshop is displayed. If a particular workshop is full for that session, then a red “Sold Out” icon will be displayed and the number of seats available will be “0”.  

A particular workshop showed "Sold Out" yesterday, but now there are suddenly seats available again.  How can this be?

This can happen when we cancel an incorrect order or one which has not been paid for. The seats would then become available again.  Think of the Soccer World Cup ...

How soon must I pay?
We must receive your payment within 24 hours of booking. Should we not receive your payment within this time, your booking will be cancelled and the seats made available to other people.

Can I book by phone or fax?
Unfortunately not. All book ings and payments MUST be done online on this website.
